Peeli Khidki Ring

A pane of honey-glass set in a palace window. Square oxidized silver, carved with curling vines and dots like old haveli jaalis. At the center, a luminous amber cabochon that glows from within – warm, liquid, alive. Inspired by jharokhas, by monsoon light through stained glass, by the way color was architecture before it was decoration. Solid, graphic, unapologetically yellow.
